Question Rear end parts

what are the names of all the parts of the rear end of a 2005 dodge dakota 2wd v6 with a 10 bolt cover. I need the names of the gears and bearings mainly

There are lots of parts, too much to list. Are you looking to get replacement parts? The parts stores will have them all listed. You can always go to your local Dodge Dealer parts department and get a print out of the rear end parts.

I will move this to the 3rd generation Dakota sub-forum.

There are parts manuals available in 1 of the "Stickies" on this forum. Get yourself one and it'll show & name all the parts on the whole truck.

Gears:
Ring gear
Pinion gear
Side gears
Spider gears

Bearings:
Carrier bearings
Front pinion bearing
Rear pinion bearing
Axle bearings

If you Google "Mopar OEM Parts" they will list several websites that not only have most any OEM part (including nuts and bolts) you could think of, the stock part number, correct nomenclature, annnnd usually detailed "exploded view" drawings of that part of vehicle...kinda like this...
