Yeah, the topper is made by a company called Soft Topper. Google it you'll find the website.
All it takes is unsnapping the side panels and loosening two straps at the back and it folds up like a convertible top at the front of the box. When I do that I have no trouble loading my motorcycle up in the box or strapping down my DH bikes upright. If for some reason you want to remove it completely all you do is fold it down like I mentioned and pull two pins out from the center mounting spot. Takes all of 30 seconds by myself to get the thing off the truck and hanging in my garage.
