Default Will Ram 1500 brake booster fit 2010 Dakota

I found a hydro-boost setup that is a bolt on for Ram 1500 but want to know if this will work on my Dak.

With a little work, anything will fit anything. I seriously doubt it'll bolt right on, but shouldn't be too hard to adapt.

What are you trying to accomplish?

first off, what year ram are you looking at? and which engines do you both have? i feel like it won't be too hard, the only difficulty i see would be maybe spacing. i have whatever gen the 06 4.7L v8 is, and my dad has the newer powertech one 2010. so we both have 4.7 chrysler engines..Both engine set ups look identical except he has a bigger air filter, everything else is in the same spot from what i remember. Mostly the rams have more room and its components are a bit bigger. That should give you some idea, i have an 06 dak tho so im not sure how it compares.

Unless you're going to put a diesel in it, I personally would stick with the vacuum booster. Hydroboost is kind of a PITA, in my opinion. You can put a bigger master cylinder on your current booster unit if the stock one doesn't have enough volume for the bigger brakes.

Actually the hydroboost system is off a 2005 Ram 2500. I figured with the dana 60 and rear 10.5 disk brake setup I will end up with from the super duty I will definitely need more stopping power seeing that the stopping power I have now is almost at its limit.
