I'm looking to replace my 2006 3.6 engine with the 4.7 anybody know where I can get one find a decent price or a trade? (I know there's not that much of difference in HP but I'm going to super charge it) I have a guy that will sell me a 5.7 ram engine (not sure year) would that be a good swap or stick with 4.7???

 

It would take quite a bit of modification, but I personally would go with the 5.7. More power, about the same MPGs. If you not planning to do it yourself, and have your truck out of commission for a good while, go for it. The 4.7 offers very little as far as aftermarket goes. The Hemi would be easier to find aftermarket for after it's in the truck and running.

 

I have a nice 08 4.7 for sale but I'm in Canada.

 

And you probably have all of the electonic goodies available too!
