Default ThrottleBody mod? DYI?

Okay guys, I have seen the fastman products, look very sharp and like a good product. I also read some "how to" photo instructions online to grind down some of the ThrottleBody with a dremmel tool and others that cut a diffuser off the butterfly blade. Anyone here do that on a 3rd Gen? Or is our model so minor that you can't see it visually? I could afford a few hours with a dremmel, but fastman is out of my range at this time....

I don't recall anyone modifying the stock Dakota TB, but I could be wrong.

You could probably clean it up some. remove burrs, sharp edges, grind down the screw heads on the throttle plate shaft to improve air flow. Just make sure you don't increase the opening at the at the plate or it will never idle again.

Didn't realize he made them for the 08+ 4.7 engines, I see he does now. Excellent, maybe add this to my wish list soon.
