Question Tonneau advice

Wanted some ppls opinions.

I have the chance to get a Bakflip fiber max tonneau for my truck for $500. Its only 6 months old, the gentelman is selling cause he sold his truck.

I just wanted to know if this is a good deal or not?

Depends on if you want that for your truck....other types of tonneau covers can be had for less.

i have the bakflip g2. i love it. i have only two complaints. 1, its metal top so you have to be careful not to dent it, and the same with paint, dont scratch it. and the only other complaint is its not waterproof. it leaks. other than that, i love the look. and it being tri-fold. many people compliment it weekly.

If you have the factory utility rails, make sure it is able to be mounted with them on (or that you are OK to remove them if you prefer.)
I got an Extang Solid Fold partly for that reason (they aren't flush mount ones though, so probably aren't what you are looking for.)

The best price that I can see for that tonneau cover is $679, so $500 is a pretty good price if it's in absolutely perfect condition. I'm sure if you offered a little less $$, he'd most likely be happy to get rid of it.
