Default 3 inch coil spacer

i just ordered a 3 inch coil spacer for my truck to fit my new 31 10.50 bf goody all terrains on. the rims i got with them have a pretty wicked offset that has them sticking out pretty good, hence some serious rubbing so i figured 3 inches would clear it.my question is is 3 inches going to create more problems in the long run?

Are you 4wd or 2wd? It is recomended to not go over 2" on 4wd some have had luck with 2.5" as well but as far as I know 3" spacers will put you cv joints at too severe of an angle and cause them to wear out prematurely. But if you are 2wd you should be fine. Just have it aligned.

Ditto!!!! Do NOT go over 2" with 4x4. The first time you flex your suspension with anything bigger you will rip your cv joints apart. Plus you are putting unnecessary stress and premature wear on the ball joints and tie rod end links. The failure of those will soon follow.
