Default The Phantom Backseat Driver

Have you ever had a passenger in the car that keeps changing your radio station? Well I can't see mine. It's the Dakota phantom!!!
It seems I might have an electrical issue. My radio changes to the lowest number radio station when I accelerate. And then changes back 1-2 seconds later. I'm not really sure how the two are connected.

Any thoughts or opinions on the matter?

Also I have the stock radio and no electrical aftermarket parts.

Grounding issue? Kinda like the whistling you get when there's feedback through the speakers from whatever you have plugged in causing the havoc? Just some thoughts

Any chance it only happens when you have the heat on high?

I think you might need to take your truck to a church and have it blessed.

Also you can find the stock radio in lots of Chrysler vehicles at the junk yard for cheap

types of vehicles that I know have the same radio depending on year
Ram, Dakota, Jeep Liberty, Chrysler 300, PT Cruiser, probably more but those for sure depending on year

Thanks for the input guys, I'm going to try disconnecting the battery (just to reset everything)...if that doesn't work I'm gonna remove the radio and see if anything was coming unplugged...and if thats not it then ill be heading to my local pull-a-part to "pull apart" a dodge vehicle of some kind...
