hi all, have a 2011 dakota that is basic with factory cd/radio. any replacement units aftermarket that can be installed. would like to get more wattage from the base stereo.
Jump onto crutchfield and start looking. Thats your best bet. Any aftermarket radio can be installed, you just need adaptors and connectors. Crutchfield will set you up with everything you need.
jkeaton is correct. The 2008+ Dakotas can fit any standard radio, worst case scenario you need an adapter or two, which Crutchfield (and others) sell or include.
I have yet to see an aftermarket unit that doesn't look out of place in the dash. On my Wrangler I went so far as tossing the replacement and putting back the OEM radio.
