Default My Work In Progress

So, My truck's rear end was destroyed a couple months ago, replacement parts include bumper, bumper cover, tail gate, box cover, and both side panels. (Have yet to notice any mechanical issues so i suppose its lucky that way)

so I've now been buying parts for it for the last couple months and am going to do a complete over haul in the next month.

2008 Dakota SLT V8 Magnum

Purchased List so far:
All the body replacement parts to repair damage
3" Bull bar
Bushwacker 1.5' fender flares
2" Front leveling kit
Hood Scoop, (I want to be like Eric and make it functional haha)
Slotted Rotors and Performance Pads
8 Gallons of Liquid Black Plasti Dip with a Earlex spray gun to do whole truck
The bull bar, bumpers and running boards with be Line x sprayed.
Truck is Debadged.

Still to purchase:
New tires and rims to match the lift and flares
CAI (leaning towards 57 series K&N)
Exhaust System (leaning towards magnaflow dual rear exits)
SuperChip

I need some advice on the engine work I want to get done though,
I do not tow with the truck and it stays in the city and it will not be charged or turbo'd.

keeping that in mind this is the list that i need some advice with:

I want:
4.56 Gears (3.55 Current) 4x4
a better throttle body
H/O Cams
Headers and CAT removal/replacement

Any information on these would be appreciated or where to get them.

Not exactly sure how to upload pics but i got the links I believe

Gears will probably be the most expensive part of the project, or darn close. You can't just throw the in until they "look good". Gears require a set of very specific, precise tools.

Labor wise, you are you looking at $400-$600 per axles. Probably more for the front than the rear, as there is more stuff in the front to move out of the way.

A good set of gears will cost you $200+ per axle. Cheap gears are not good, will be noisy and wear out faster. On top of that, you'll need master install kits that run about $200 per axle. Don't get anything but master install kits, minor or standard kits won't do.

You're looking at $2000 pretty easily there.

Thanks for that info Jason, sounds like a big job, thats the only part of this project I dont think ill do myself.
Where can these gears be found? perhaps bring it straight to the dealer and have them do it?
