Default truck wont start..

So I have a 2005 dakota with the 4.7 in it. I had it up on jacks all day replacing the front cv axles and fitting my prerunner bumper, when I let it down and went too start it and it would not start, tried a second time and it fired up with some rich smelling smoke comming out the tailpipe. After I shut the motor off it wont start and I still cant get it too start... I pulled a few plugs and they look mint, pulled the code saying that the map sensor is bad, so I cleaned it. I also checked the tps and the battery grounds. I have the cel and oil can light on on the dash. I checked the coolant and its nice along with the engine oil. Anyone have any ideas about what it may be??

got it running and took it for a 25 mile drive, at first there was a S*** ton of water coming from the exhaust, its all good now. The truck starts now but it spins for a few seconds before it starts, it also idles really rough and the lights dim and get brighter when I bring the rpms up... I'm thinking o2 sensors? but I'll change the MAP sensor tomorrow after work(its easier :P) The CEL is still on..

I would change the MAP - they aren't cleanable (most sensors aren't).
