Default Newbee with two questions .....

Hello all .... glad to be here --- hope to learn some and help some.

I have a 2011 D.D. Quadcab, and Im interested in two changes. Im curious if they can be done easily enough. I appreciate all your help.

1. Can I replace the seats i currently have with the captain's chairs i see in the Laramie ?

2. Can I just swap the radio that came with my base model truck with the upgraded model featuring the hands-free calling featrue. Thanks

Jim

Both options are possible, the Seats are the simplest, its a simple un-bolt and bolt the new in. It does change if the New are Powered and the old are not, Some wiring connections need to be done. (I think someone has done it and its not to complex)
This can also affect the Air Bag System, Some people Disconnect the battery and get no issue others have to get it recalibrate because the passenger side Sensor.

The Radio is the same way, Its mostly plug and play, You may need to add the Microphone inside the cab, and Might have to get some options turned on at the Dealer (Starscan) Im not sure.

Jim,

As Reject advised, both options are possible. Check out the link I've posted below, these Mopar accessories are specifically designed kits to modify your Dodge.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions and welcome to the Dodge Forum!

What seats do you have, it's either the two chairs with floor console, or two seats with middle seat attached (40/20/40). I don't see the captains chairs that you mentioned.
The available front seats that were offered in 2011 were:
— Premium two-tone cloth bucket - (ST & Big Horn)
— Two-tone leather-trimmed bucket - (Laramie)
— Front, 40/20/40 cloth split-bench - (Optional on Big Horn)
— Front, 40/20/40 leather-trimmed split-bench - (Optional on Laramie)

Basically it's the same seats, cloth or leather.

The radio is not all that you would need for hands free calling (Uconnect). I'm not sure what is necessary to add this to your truck. It might be easier to get an aftermarket deck with bluetooth instead.

Welcome to DF.

There is also these.
There is only a Small Console like the 40/20/40 Seats have. Nothing between them. Ive seen them on the newer year ST's

(2010 ST Crew Cab)

I want these for my Club Cab.
