Default 2010 front level lift

I inquired with Rough Country lifts why the 2" level lift for my 2010 Dak Quad cab was listed only for 2 wheel drive and got the following response. Thoughts?

The CV Axles on the 4wd can't handle that much lift and will be put in a bind, causing them to break

Don't hold me to this, but i always heard that 2"was the limit on using a level lift on a 4WD.

2" is the limit on 4x4. Any bigger cause problems sooner. I have a 2wd with a 1.5" kit on it.
The 2" kits for some have also cause premature wear of front end parts aswell, others have had no issues.

You will be fine with a 2". I had a 2" on mine. Unless your into extreme offroading you won't have that much problem. I can cause premature wear on the tie rods, ball joints and CV joints. Can't coment on when/if they will fail, but everything fails at some point...lol
