I really hate how the stock air box clamps down... some the the clamps seem to pop off mine. Anyone know if the Volant 16947 will working in an '06 Dakota? I'm not sure if the wiper fluid reservoir would be in the way or not. I'd like to have a enclosed system to keep water from getting in.
It Looks like it would be close but the tube that goes from the box to the throttle body is shorter than it needs to be, Could be modified but I wouldnt bother.
Thanks guys... not sure why Volant made it only for an '04... some websites selling said it worked up to the '06, but when I saw the engine compartment from an '04 I didn't think it would.

Economics. The same reason why there is practically no aftermarket support for anything else on 3rd gen Dakotas. Why invest money developing products for a dying (now dead) breed?
