Default Noise While Driving

I have this whiny noise when I'm driving. Don't hear it when I'm stopped. Rotated the tires thinking thats what it was, but still there. Could it be the transfer case? Or could it have something to do with the recall for the pinion nut?

Hard to tell without figuring out where the noise is coming from.

I had a low pitched whine noise coming from what sounded like my driver's side front wheel at highway speeds. Thought it was normal because bought the truck with it. It got louder and louder as time progressed, so took it into the $tealership (still had bumper-to-bumper warranty at the time). Turned out to actually be a bad wheel bearing on the passenger side front.

Dakota B'y,

Does your vehicle have an outstanding recall? If you do have any concerns I would recommend speakig with a Dodge dealer and getting the vehicle inspected. If you have any questions please PM and I'd be happy to review with you.

You can check for any recalls at:
