We all know the fluid isn't lifetime, unless lifetime means 100k maybe.

There is no drain plug, so they have to pull the housing if they're going to change oil.
I wouldn't worry about it. I ran my 1980 Ford for 25 years, over 200, 000 miles w/the same oil in the rear end and manual transmission.

Hey, Sleds: How do you know where to drill the pan, knowing you're going to install a drain plug? I'd hate to arbitrarily drill a hole only to find out that it was a bad place and damaged something for drilling in the blind.
