Default 06 Wiper arm and possibly bracket

So driving to work today, heavy rain, heavy winds.

To shorten it up, my passenger wiper stripped out and no auto parts sells them

Do I have to buy the $90 motor and bracket that's on Ebay, then $50 arms on Ebay? Instead of going to the dealer and spending half a paycheck?

You didn't say what stripped, usually it's the arm that strips it's splines after some damage (you need to be careful when installing or removing it to avoid damage - a small puller is usually the best way). It's rare but possible to have the shaft itself strip, the shaft is a lot harder. Either way, your cheapest approach would be to go to an auto salvage yard for your parts. The shaft would be your most expensive if you bought it outside a salvage yard - the shaft is part of the entire wiper module. In a salvage yard you can usually remove (or have removed for you) just what you want, which in this case would the just the part of the arm with the shaft on it.

Download a service manual & you'll see the description of the wiper system in section 8R around page 50.

When you look at a failure or malfunction, inspect it carefully so that you can describe the problem properly. A vague question will give you a vague answer (most likely the wrong answer) and without doing any research (like getting yourself the free service manual download), you won't learn how things work or the best way to fix them. Without research, what you will find is the most expensive way to attempt a fix.

The arm that goes to the bracket. I checked the bracket, and it seems a little okay, but not sure. No junkyard within 400 miles of me has this vehicle or the durango. So I'm screwed there. Also, I can't find an arm at any auto parts store. Once again, option is the dealer

I'm not sure of what arm or what bracket you're referring to. If you download the Dakota parts list (located in the sticky section) & check out the section that contains the wiper system, you'll see what the dealership can sell you. If you want a subset of something like the wiper module that contains the electric motor and all the motion arms, you'll need to find that at a salvage yard or through some on-line research. Although you may not have any 3rd Gen Dakotas in any local salvage yards, there are quite a few salvage yards that have on-line ties to many other yards and they can order from each other - why don't you try that? You can look up some of the closest yards that would have some of the parts you might want by looking at www.car-part.com.

The arm that the wiper blade attaches to, that swings back and forth, is stripped

I don't know if I need a bracket or not

There are no junk yards that have this gen in truck or durango with in 400 miles.
