Exclamation Thermometer

Hi guys I have a ´05 Dakota V8 and since I got it, the thermometer located on the roof has inaccurate readings most of the time 10 or 15 degrees above real outside temperature? does anyone had the same problem and if there´s a way to fix it? Regards!

Welcome to the forum. Take a look at the sensor, as djibara said, its right behind the grill. See if the connections are corroded or just replace the sensor.

Exclamation Thermometer

Hi guys thanks for your replies but I haven't got any luck finding the sensor could you please post a picture of its location? I find something that looks like a sensor behind the horns but not sure if that´s what you´re talking about, Regards!

Its right there in the front on the right side. My PC is messed up tonight....in the black circle....not the wires hanging loose, the blue colored sensor mounted to the frame part under the light I was installing.

That looks like it. Put it in a glass of ice water and see if your temp display changes, if it does, then thats the sensor.
