Default 05 dakota slt with the 45re shifting slowly

it shifts slowly at startup but then seams to get better but not 100% when it warms up. i dropped the pan and changed both filters and added 7.5 litres of new oil but its still there. oil level is perfect and i check when it was running and warm. i cleaned the bottom of the pan and saw little to no shavings on pan or magnet.
any ideas?

its a 2005 dodge dakota slt awd 4x4 165000 km. its got the 45re transmission with the heavy duty tow package. what ive done in the last 5000km is a new crank shaft seal new control arms with ball joints. new transmission cooler lines. new outer tie rods. two new hubs. front brake pads and rotors, rear sway bar bushings and front drive shaft plus a drain and
filter replacement on the tranny.

what it does is around 1st 2nd and 3rd the shifts seam to be slower than usual like it takes a little bit longer to get into gear. i assumed it was the cold as its been -30C the whole winter. but it went to +5 the last week and it continues to shift this way. when dropping the trans pan i saw no evidence of bad gears as there was close to no shavings for a tranny that hasnt been serviced in 100000km. brand new mopar filters and atf-4.

I'd try disconnecting the battery overnight, thats been known to cure all kinds of ills on these trucks.
