I have a 2005 Dakota Slt 4x4 with v-8 engine. It keeps dying on me for no apparent reason. It is like it loses complete power. It does not leave a code when it happens. It does it sometimes while idleing, and sometimes when I am driving. Sometimes it will start right back up on its own, and other times, I have to pull over to the side of the road. Sometimes it will start right back up, and sometimes it has to set for a while. It does it worse when it is colder weather. Now it will not run long enough to even get out of the garage to take it anywhere. I have replace the spark plugs and the crank sensor. I have taken ever ground that I can find on the truck loose and cleaned them. I do not know what to try next. I appreciate any help or information anyone can give me.
The battery is about 2 years old. I did take another battery off of another vehicle I have and try it just to see if that would help, and it did the same thing.
