Default Spark plug gap

I need some advice, I have a 05 dakota with a 3.7L and I have read here that some are say that the plug should be gapped at 35. I bought double platium autolite app3923 and they are all gapped at 40 should I leave them at 40 or should I regap them to 35?

Look at the underhood sticker and gap them to what it says the plugs should be gapped to.

mine for the 4.7 was .40 gap. you also have to see if yours needs copper core plugs as my 05 4.7 does need copper core. but look under the hood and look for the emissions sticker and see what it says.
