My new 2005 Dakota console lid pad is coming off. It has bucket seats and the console looks identical to the one I had in my 2003 Durango. My question is will the lid from a second gen Dakota or Durango fit? they look the same to me. The factory pad is like 110 bucks or more and I'm pretty sure There are more 2nd gens at junkyards and I might be able to find a decent lid to match. I just don't want to waste my time if it will not fit. Thanks.

 

As far as I know, they are identical. I installed a 2nd Gen full floor.console in my 3rd Gen. It all bolted right in, I don't think they changed anything about it at all.
