Just bought an 05 slt extended cab
I've been shopping for a new work truck for a couple months. I've only driven full size trucks the last 12 years. I got tired up not being able to reach the bottom of the bed with the new trucks. We picked up an 04 dakota for my mom 2 years ago and it's been a great truck.
So I finally found a cream puff, 05 slt, it had to be extended cab for the 6.5 box. 38k 1 owner, every service record and oil change.. he even had the dealership change the wiper blades !
I would have liked the v8, but this seems to get up well enough when it's revved out.
so far the only upgrades are a used a.r.e commercial topper I scored for $100 off cl. cost me $200 in paint, but I like it. .. and I ordered a set of fake leather seats off ebay for $163.
