Default Front end popping noise

So I love my truck, but am getting very disappointed in the suspension components in the front. Lately I have had a dreading popping noise when coming to a fast stop. I have checked all the suspension components on both sides and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. Could it be a bad steering linkage or something similar to that? I'm very maintenance minded and this is frustrating me. Any help from and of you guys would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Brandon

Ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar end links and struts are all weak points on these trucks. Inspect them all. Depending on how many miles, you might just want to replace everything with quality aftermarket parts (Moog) and be done with it.

Thanks, i have 100k on her now, and am not sure if any of these components have been replaced in the life of this truck. I plan on replacing them all after the crazy hot summer here in AZ is over with Moog parts from rock auto.

I had that same popping noise turns out my passenger side upper a arm was moving , replaced then got an alignment and no more popping whatsoever
