Talking Truck Yeah!!!! Possible new Dakota

So, I read Truck Yeah every now and then. It's a sub category on Jalopnik that deals only with trucks and other truck related articles. This way i'm not bombarded with all the stuff about import cars or other things i don't care about.

Anyways, i just spied this little article. I kinda like the look of this little truck, and it would look great with the dodge cross haired grill.

More info HERE with some spied shots of an AWFULLY camoflaged truck in Michigan, but looking at the undercarriage, it looks to possibly have IRS. The front end looks too low but it could be an interesting new truck. Hopefully it can live up to it's predecessors.

Looks like an ugly and smaller Avalanche replacement.

They've done a fine job of camo on it. Whatever it is.

If they do a good job with the hood and grill, then it might look pretty good based on what I see on the current Fiat product.

You can't really say anything on looks (too much camo) or capabilities (no info) yet, but if this was a new Dakota, maybe it will bring on a resurgence of sales and make the 3rd gen more desirable, and bring a higher value. I still think it could look pretty cool.

With the right engine/transmission combo, that could be what is needed to bring the midsize truck back to the mainstream.

We don't know for sure that it is indeed based on the Fiat truck pictured in my first link. It might share some things with that Fiat truck but until it is actually announced, it's impossible to say. It might not even be a Dodge, or Fiat, or whatever under all that camo.
