Not always but some times my speedometer will stick at a random speed. Some times I can tap on the "glass" and it will free and other times it just frees itself.

Any suggestions?

 

The same thing happened to mine years ago. Eventually, it just stopped doing that.

 

My RPM gauge sticks sometimes (very rarely), but it's my fault. I pulled the instrument cluster out and needles off and I guess that I pushed the RPM needle a little too much. I could open it up and pry the needle off just a bit, but it's not a big deal for me. Now if my speedometer did that, I might take the time to do it. The needles simply push on, so maybe yours is just at that point too.
