My truck's cargo button, when pressed, will cause the interior lights to go on, and will cause a light in my dash-board saying my trunk is open (I don't have a trunk...). Do I have to get the computer reinstalled at a dealership or something?

I guess he meant the cargo light button. The instrument panel it's the same between the Durango and Dakota, so your truck is a bit confused. Try and disconnect your battery for a while, sometimes a reset will fix all sorts of electrical glitches.

 

I have done this. It hasn't worked;(

 

Well, then you have a unique vehicle. Rejoice in your awesome differences. If it really bothers you, probably the dealer is your only choice.
