Default Wheel Hub Replacement Question

So my wheel bearing is going on my driver side, I'm gonna be replacing both just so I know they're both new. I'm sure this is a beating a dead horse question but with the ABS, Is it possible for just 1 of the 2 wheels in front to have ABS? Or is either they both have it or they both dont?

Try to keep up here! Okay, either you have 4-wheel ABS or rear-wheel ABS. Period. However, from 2008 on (I think), with rear wheel ABS, the front left has the ABS sensor, used by the computer for other reasons

I think it is to monitor rear wheel speed vs front wheel speed to shut off the Cruise Control when the rear wheels spin (just a theory, no actual knowledge).

So, you either have one sensor hub or two, not zero. I was confused too when I started looking at mine. I know I have rear-wheel ABS only, but I have a sensor wire on my front left hub.

Cheers!

Yup, I'll second that. A month ago I had ordered 2 hubs with no sensors because I have rear wheel ABS. Needless to say I was a little pissed to find that the front left had a sensor. So I replaced the right side only at that time. So if you know anybody that needs a hub with no sensor I have a brand new Moog in box.
