Default Brake recomendations?

Just curious on what brakes should i use for the front brakes? I was looking into the powerstop truck and tow kit and was wondering yays or nays? Also for the rear drum brakes unsure what to get and replace since my truck is shuddering when it brakes 101k 2006 4.7L V8 QuadCab dont believe the drums been replaced but the shoes have so any suggestions would be helpful?

i have done both front and backs. i really dont think the brand matters all that much. i feel like bonded shoes are better than riveted.

the deal with the back brakes is pretty weird. i couldnt find the right shoes it seems they have been changed somehow as the holes are not the same. the parts stores i went to had a listing for dual or single return springs. the duals are speical order.

i had the shudder deal as well it seems to be gone for now. i have a pdf t.s.b. from dodge and it states 8.25 rear ends with m coded axles need to have the axles replaced. for the life of me i cant figure out why that would be. maybe the axles are out of balance?

the brakes are poorly designed imo because the adjuster is located at the top of the assembly, this seems like it would be better at the bottom. neither here nor there it is what it is.

only real tip i can share is that adjusting the rears is a pain in the *** as the window for adjusting them assembled is blocked by the brake line and emergency brake linkage- more dumb dodge stuff to make you grrrrr.

also the brakes seem to work better if they are not adjusted really tight to the drums which also seems odd to me. good luck

The best brake pads I've ever used are EBC Yellow Stuff. Not cheap, but worth every penny, IMO.
