I've been looking all over the place for Dakota parts for my 2008, and they seem few and far between. The 05-07 generation has a bunch of stuff, but not THAT much. Seems the bulk of available stuff is for the 04 and earlier crowd.

Right now I'm mostly looking at exterior accessories, but I do eventually want to do some basic mods and make it move.

Can someone point me in the right direction for parts? Are there any parts for the older generations that also work for our gen 5s? Any solid websites that have a good selection, ideas of HOW to look for them, custom work ideas, etc... any guidance is appreciated. I guess my Google-fu is weak.

 

Start be stating what you want.....a lot of mods are "home grown" so to speak. What are you looking for? A list of external mods looks something like this for a 3rd gen Dak:

Probably more there too. Just the basics.

 

Pretty much any mod that you can do with any truck, only our choices are limited. Browse around the forum, and you will get some ideas on what to do to your truck.

2005 and up Dakotas are considered a 3rd Gen, at least by all forums, except one. So most mods will apply to 2005-2011 Dakotas.
