Default Blown Monroe Shock

Has anyone blown a shock? I blew my driver side one on the weekend.
I installed Monroe Sensa-trac Load Adjusting ones in 2012, But after moving some bricks last weekend it seemed fine, took my trailer out to atv and noticed it was blown/Leaking when I got back.
My guess would be about 900lbs of bricks and another 150 with the shed kit
Now when I did the bricks It was loaded down, but it wasnt bottomed out.
I ordered a new set already and plan to install them this weekend.

The shocks may be already worn out and in need of replacement.

Reject: where did you purchase them? Monroe shocks/struts carry a lifetime warranty. You should be getting a set for free, since they only sell the load adjusting shocks in pairs.

I bought them online (ebay) the first time as it was cheaper then local, so I figured they might not be covered.

If they wore out in under 3 years, id be worried since the factory ones lasted 6-7, and were not bad when I replaced them.
