Talking Mopar Performance Cat-Back Exhaust System by Borla

Since my exhaust pretty much rusted to hell, it was time for an upgrade. The rear two hangars had so much rust that they both broke free of the exhaust pipe and created a hole in both spots. I had to clamp up the rear hangar for at least some support. When I added a Magnaflow muffler and tip back in 2009, I had a local exhaust shop install them and remove both resonators. They had to bend some aluminum pipe to fill out from the muffler back to the rear. Of course that aluminum rusted out in 5 years, being blasted by salt in the winters surely did the damage.

Now back when I put the Magnaflow in, I had ordered this same Borla exhaust system, but the order got cancelled because there were none of the kits available. Well I found it again on the same site, and called to see if they did indeed have the system available, and she said that there were 60 units available across the country. So it appears Borla made a bunch for us neglected Dakota owners. It is T304 stainless steel, and this kit only cost me $25 more (after shipping & tax) than I could have gotten the Magnaflow 16621 SS kit for. And the Magnaflow stainless steel systems are made of T409 stainless steel. So the Borla SS is a better quality system for only $25 more than the Magnaflow system.

Borla (MOPAR10 = 10% off)

Now, I'm guessing pictures and maybe some sound clip is in order.

Only a fool would cover up this beautiful polished tip!

It's got a nice deep tone. There are two sound clips in my first post above, at the bottom of the post.
