anyone here done the job? i keep getting po463 and the gas guage goes to empty for awhile, its pretty random but keeps coming back.

looks to be an easy enough job three torx on the filler neck- two straps and two wiring connections.

wiring all looks good and plugged in fully.

questions- what is the tank made of? when empty how heavy will it be? do i need to relieve fuel pressure before removing the module from the tank?

 

Probably 50 lbs or so. It's plastic, IIRC. Pull the fuel pump relay and start the truck to release the pressure.
