As I said in other posts on this subject (dont remember if I posted this on here or another).
The governers are there for a reason. Not every vehicle is safe to drive above its recommended max speed. Doesnt matter if you put Z rated tires on a dakota (or any other non sports based vehicle) or not, its stillnot designed to drive 130mph without a risk of mech failure. Not to mention the fact most people cant drive 65 mph safely as it is.

Ah true...but we aren't most people... I mean think about what percent of people do you think are driving their cars this fast?... I would say percentage wise not that many, then think how many of those people probably shouldn't be driving that fast.. I'd say probably a third...(Mostly young kids).. So that being said... I think that although true any non-sports based car isn't designed for that... I wouldn't necesarily say its not unsafe... true its not as safe as driving the speed limit...but then again driving the speed limit isn't as safe as not driving period. My point is that non sports based cars aren't designed for that because not enough people would use them for that... but that doesn't mean they can't be used for that.
