Default PS Problems

I have an 05 dakota with a lift 3 front 2 back.
1. Could the lift be the cause of my power steering problem

2. I have bought 2 power steering pumps this month and both of these pumps has gone this one faster than the lasr. Could that be because of the lift or the rack and pinion

3. With my lift could I put 305 70 r17
Tires on my truck

4. Why are all of my suspension bolts seizing up on me

Thaks

Default Power steering problems

I have a 2005 dodge dakota 3.7 v6 with a 3 inch front and 2 inch back lift kit.

After i put the lift kit I was under my truck more than in it with $800 in parts and many man hours of labor. I am on my third power steering pump this month and installed a brand New one from the dodge dealership Friday and today I drive my truck(Monday) and the power steering again whent out my thought is the rack and pinion and the hoses need to be changed but I would like somebody else's input who knows what their talking about. Could the lift be my problem? Could the alignment be my problem? I don't drive like I'm running from the cops I kno driving isn't a factor. Hoses have a lot of pressure. Drained power steer hoses already. I am running out of options and money I need serious help please.

Thanks

2005dodge3.7: Please observe page 1 for tire fitment applications. To answer your question on the ps pump, I don't believe that is very likely. I've had my factory pump on my truck since it was purchased brand new. The leveling kit has been on since 35K miles. Now I'm about to break the 200K mark. No ps pump issues what so ever.

I went through a couple of pumps and a rack till I put a PS filter inline.
I had some crap in the system and once I installed the filter the system has been good. That was about 3 years ago.
Any auto parts store should have the filters, its just an inline one that you put in the low pressure return hose.

My thought is that you had a pump go bad for some reason, maybe due to a bad rack, leaving bits of metal running through the system. You change out one part, leaving the bits of metal flowing through. Those bits of metal cause other bits of metal to grind away, and so on. Unless you do as EVGuy says, you have to replace all of the parts with any damage (and how will you know what they are?) and flush everything clean, otherwise, the cycle continues.
