I'd like to upgrade to the larger 6x9 mirrors. My truck has 5x7 power mirrors, but not heated. Will 6x9 power/heated mirrors mount to my truck and plug to the existing power connector? How well do the aftermarket ebay mirrors hold up?

 

The 6x9 mirrors will bolt right on, and the power will work fine. But getting the heat to work is another issue, guys have had problems getting that to work, I'm not sure if anyone actually got the heat to work. Aftermarket mirrors should be fine, although I don't have any experience with them.

 

Thanks. I'm not going to try to use heat option. My gen 2 Dakota has power/heated and I seldom used the heat. But the best priced mirrors I've found included heat. I thought they should bolt up. I just wasn't sure about the power connection being the same.
