Default Front propeller shaft (drive-shaft)

So I've finally crossed the 200K mark and have had the first drivetrain failure: the cv joint in the front propeller shaft has failed. At first, I almost pooped my drawers when I suspected a t-case failure, based on the symptoms. Thank goodness its only the shaft. So, in researching, I found a cost effective solution...that fixes the factory f*ck up: http://www.proshaftllc.com/collectio...mission-trucks

For most of ya'll, we would need to verify length for the automatic pickups. As I understand it, they can make this in any length. Aaaaaaand, it's cheaper...and stronger.....so....I bought it. I will keep the thread going for pictures, install, review, etc.

Until then, here is some gratuitous gun ****:

Well, I received it, but it was too short. So I had to wait for the correct length to arrive. Apparently there is conflicting lengths for a manual trans Dakota prop shaft. Lol. Here is a photo of the shorty. More photos to come in the next couple hours...stand by...

Here's a photo of the front prop shaft installed. Its legit: no vibration, comes pre-balanced. Pro-shaft FTW!
