Hi All

Looking for a P/U and need for a tow vehcile for my 3,500 lbs camper looking at a 2007 Dodge Dakota SLT Quad Cab 4WD with 99,072 miles

Are these good dependable trucks?

Thanks

I would like to ask how often and far you will be towing? If you are going to be going far and frequent I would say look at a full size truck. If you are going close and not that often then it will be fine. I have towed a 25 foot snowmobile trailer (all aluminum) without issue, but I have replaced more front end parts (upper ball joints and lowers twice in 128,000 miles so I am on my 3rd set) because it appears our front end has more in common with a minivan than a full size truck.
