Default no heat

2005 ****box hit 206000 miles and last night went to use heat and got nothing but cold air, installed new radiator, hoses and tstat about a year ago with a back flush, when turning temp **** there is no change in air. thinking blend door actuator is fubar. but the **** to change air direction seems to work fine when changing from floor to defrost and what not. all fuses seem good. not to sure if **** is fubar, anyone have issues like this and fixed?

Sounds like something is up with that door. I have a friend with a 2005 Ram that had this issue though. After a lot of tearing into things, he revealed that he changed the coolant and didn't use mopar approved. Long story short - this clogged up his heater core. Had to do a serious flush on the core.

I had a similar issue with my 05. I was able to remove the glove box and give a little tap with a screwdriver to the actuator. I got lucky and it started working again.

Good to see its working now. Hopefully the new actuator will take care of it.
On a side note, with that mileage and the other coolant related stuff you changed, have you done a water pump yet? I ask because it looks like mine is getting ready. Not really the pump, but the gasket has developed a leak.
