HELP PLEASE 2007 dakota low beam and wiper washer doesnt work

Default HELP PLEASE 2007 dakota low beam and wiper washer doesnt work

Low beams and windershield washer fluid pump doesnt work, I thought it was the multifunction switch so i changed it and it still doesnt work, I cannot find any fuses or relays for either of them. Help please

Clock spring then. Have you checked for voltage at the connectors for each?

have not checked for voltage at the connectors. My high beams work and wipers work, just low beams and washer pump. Is there no relays or fuses for them? Also the horn works if that is any help.

Multi Function Switch . . .


This is a consistent problem with all multifunction switches. There is too much going on in a small space. The older models have high current going through the switches that overheat and fail. The newer models (I think yours might be one) have only signal voltage going through but still have problems. Mine was acting up, and went to swap it out for a used one from the wreckers. It was the wrong type, but just disconnecting and reconnecting the existing solved the problem. Try that . . .

I bought a new multifunction switch and still nothing.

its listed as a spare but it's for the wiper fluid. Give it a try.

How about that CTM module that I've read about in other threads? Sounds like it could be the issue here.
