Looking to put a backup camera and lock in my tailgate handle on my 2008, but they only make these for RAM trucks.
Is it possible to make these interchange or am I just going to have to get a backup camera and aftermarket lock?

 

Probably not since the ram tailgate is bigger.

 

I meant the handle assembly, not the whole tailgate, but looking at dims it seems like it's bigger as well.

 

That's what I meant. Bigger tailgate, bigger handle.

 

I installed a radio with back up camera input recently and I used a license plate mount camera. It works just as well. For a lock, check Pop & Lock, they make aftermarket locks for tailgates.
