Everything went smoothly with the waterpump replacement. I made way more of a mess while draining the coolant than I would have hoped for... oh well, live and learn!

I had a chance to test my radiator cap with a pressure tester. While I know the cap releases pressure at 16 PSI, I observed the pressure tester only really holding around 13-14 PSI of pressure. Should I be replacing the rad cap? Should I go from the dealer only, or is this a part that I could aftermarket? What would the consequence be of using a cap that releases pressure at 13-14 but supposed to hold until 16?

Thanks all!

no consequences really except it may open sooner. I would hazard a guess that these caps have a tolerance associated with their ratings. +/- 2 psi does not seem like that much of a stretch. I.e. I wouldn't sweat the small stuff.
