I'm looking to do the exhaust here soon on my 07. I'm wanting to do a new y-pipe as well as a cat back system. I've heard that JBA and Gibson both made a y-pipe for the truck, however I can't find it anywhere. If I'm going this far up the system, would it be worth it to do a true dual system instead of messing around with the y-pipe? I'm wanting a loud rumble and pretty loud when I stomp on it, but not obnoxiously loud, any recommendations on mufflers brands for that?

Magnaflow has a real nice sound. thrush is ok also if you on a budget. When I thought that I was going to put a hemi in my 01 Dakota. I change my pipe to 3" about 2' before the muffle all the way to the exhaust tip. With the 3" pipe and thrush muffle, I get alot of compliments.

Look into Spintech y-pipes, I remember someone having one.

Borla makes a Cat Back system, which is T304 SS, and will outlive your truck. I went from a Magnaflow muffler to the Borla System, sounds great, not obnoxious, and no drone.
