My 2005 dodge dakota 4.7 through a p2096 code when I went through a flooded area but I water never went above my tires. I should mention that my manifold had a leak. When I went through my exhaust blew white smoke then it went away. I don't know what it is cam someone help.

Exhaust manifold leak will cause this code. Fix the known problems.

Could be the left rear O2 sensor. (Bank 1, Sensor 2)
