Default Transmission issues

Just rolled over 60k in my 07 4x4 4.7L. I've noticed a couple instances of slipping, sometimes it down shifts really hard too (loud enough to hear it and feel it). Today, it wouldn't shift down to first even at stop signs. I manually put it in 1st and it was fine. Parked, turned the truck off and on and then took off and it was fine. Would it just be that's its going bad or is this common stuff with these? I wouldn't think it would be going bad at 60k yet
