I have a 2009 Dakota. I cant find a transmission pan that will hold extra fluid is there one out there.
Dont want to put a extra transmission cooler in.

 

The 4wd pan is a bit deeper and holds more than the 2wd. Same bolt pattern. Different pan filter is needed for the deeper pan. Other than that, definitely add a transmission cooler up front to support your towing plans. The cooler really is not hard to do and is not expensive either, $100. It will save your transmission.
