Default 07 dakota 4.7 misfires and shutters

I have a 07 dakota 2wd with 4.7L V8. With 142k miles. It runs perfect for about 30 minutes of driving and then misfires and shutters terribly but doesnt die. Can anyone help figure out what this is?

Have you had it scanned for codes to determine which cylinders are misfiring?

Then how are you sure it’s misfiring and not another issue?

It has threw a code in the past for cylynder 7 and also 235 other codes. (A lot were repeats) but since the p0307 was first we went with that. But once i changed plugs wires and coil packs the codes went away. But it kept doing the same thing. This was done at 135000

I think you need to use a professional type scan tool that can pull a live data stream and leave it connected while the misfire occurs and read the data to see what's going on or find a shop that has a data recorder to log the events live.
