I'd honestly be afraid to drive it with those extreme angles. Something is going to break.

This is what mine looks like, bone stock, aftermarket colour (LOL). It might even be a little up in the front end because my son's apartment (IKEA boxes) is in the bed.

I went with quick struts on my car and am dealing with the same ride height problem. Shop couldn't get the camber perfect, but said it's close. I was hoping they would break in, but hasn't happened yet. I'm just going to live with it until next time and replace with oe.

Many have commented that with the Monroe Quick Strut a leveling kit is not needed due to their length being a little longer than the oem Mopar strut.

This was what I was wondering about at first. And because my stock one is likely shorter than OE due to age, measuring the two didn't seem accurate. I asked the Monroe tech about that too and they said no, it's OE length. I guess that I'll be searching that out.

Another notice that I had was regarding the top mounting plate. I put one of my struts into my bench vice, to try to figure out how to get my spring compressor to work to help with installation. And the top plate seemed to have an angle to it. I couldn't get a good read to be sure that the strut was perfectly vertical, but by eyeball it was there. Anyway, I found that it had 1 degree of slant according to the level in my iPhone. And the angle would be pulling the bottom of the strut inward towards the vehicle center when installed. And the lift block was a consistent thickness.

I guess that no matter what, I'm going to have to just take the lift out of it and see what I get.

It shouldn't be that bad due to the lower mount bolt is already freed up from just having been installed.Disconnecting the upper ball joint, sway bar link, tie rod and pulling the cv axle from the knuckle with the truck in the air shouldn't take that long to get the strut and leveling block out.

Yeah, the process isn’t so bad. It’s just finding the time. Plus, there’s plenty of spring yard work to do around here. And I have to lead the effort. Never enough time it seems. I did find a few threads about the quick struts last night and I am more convinced than ever that this is my problem. Though I wish that I could leave it this high. Looks good. Maybe I’ll body lift it later. Sorry, I’m probably rambling again. 😊
