Default Finally, I can do a lift

So my Dakota is no longer my daily vehicle, and its time for a lift. so here is what i have "decided" to go with
(2005 Dakota Laramie v8, w/ 17" wheels & 265/65r17)

Supreme Suspension, 3" front and rear, puck and block. (will pinion shims be needed?
Rancho rs5000's structs and shocks (anybody know what the shock length will need to be?)

bigger tires and body lift will come next year
for now, does anyone have suggestions/other parts that will need to be extended/replaced?

If you are 4x4, a 3” spacers will destroy your front end, so, stock up on CV axles, ball joints, sway bar end links and tie rod ends. You won’t need any shims.

Yep. I am ready for that eventuality. good news is that in the last year, i put only 6000 miles on her. And that is gonna be average for the foreseeable future (about 2000 miles will be offroad).
Ever hear of anyone putting on longer swaybar links? i have been pondering how longer links to match lift will affect the sway bar/other areas. CV axles, tie rods, and ball joints are set to be replaced as well at the same time/end of summer.
