I have an 06 dakota r/t with a 4.7 h.o.
I'm pretty sure the computer has went bad and started doing research on where to Source a new one. Any insight on how to narrow them down. I've seen them range from $180 to $1,000. What is really the differences? After doing a little more research, I'm kind of leaning towards sending it off for a rebuild but it is currently the only vehicle I own. Any input is appreciated.

 

If I could guarantee buying the correct pcm online, and it is truly plug and play, it would be worth it to pay a little more so I don't have to be without my truck for 10 days.
